The 664 Tassel Loafer is made by Alden in Horween’s famous black shell cordovan leather, formed upon the Aberdeen Last. The Aberdeen Last will give you a timeless, slim and elegant silhouette with formal function and charm.

Shell Cordovan is made from the connective tissue from a portion of a horse’s rump. It’s rare, low yield and known for its dense, tight grain and durability. While naturally matte, Shell can achieve a notable glossy finish. This leather is highly regarded for being able to maintain its luster and shape over time. 

Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build. A tempered steel shank under the arch and a cork fill provides remarkable support and comfort throughout the day.
