An officer-dress type pattern with street sensibility, this straight cap toe boot features a tried-and-true brown Chromexcel from the famous Horween Leather Company. Known for its softness, durability, and resiliency to the elements, Chromexcel is an ideal choice for casual, rugged footwear. Packed with waxes and oils, the leather is easy to maintain and will develop a rich patina with wear. We gave the “Scout” Straight Tip Boot brown tonal stitching, brass hardware, a 270 flat welt, and an all leather sole with Thomas heel, making this a sleek and appropriate everyday adventurer.

Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build. A tempered steel shank under the arch and a cork fill provides remarkable support and comfort throughout the day.
