    The “Standard H” unlined leisure handsewn moccasin penny loafer is made exclusively for Brick + Mortar. The Van Last features a low volume toe box with a high cut vamp, making it a sleek and comfortable choice for loafers. We love this penny loafer for the unlined feel, handsewn detailing and casual comfort provided by the uniquely colored suede leather.

    Alden “Handsewn” models indicate the moccasin stitch toe was stitched by hand rather than a machine. This allows the moccasin stitch to become expressive, raised and authentic. 

    Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build. A tempered steel shank under the arch and a cork fill provides remarkable support and comfort throughout the day.

    The Van Last runs a 1/2 size larger than your standard US shoe size, similar to how the Barrie Last is sized. The Van Last is known for its low volume toe box and higher-cut vamp making it an ideal Last for penny loafers.
