    The “Town & Country” is made exclusively for Brick + Mortar. This shoe is inspired from the classic 990. We wanted a shoe that was versatile - dressy enough to be worn in town while rugged enough for countryside pursuits. This "T&C" is the highly wearable, brown CXL version of our 990AC which utilizes the split commando outsole. The brown Chromexcel leather from Horween is known worldwide for its softness, durability, and resiliency to the elements. Chromexcel is an ideal choice for casual, rugged footwear as it’s packed with waxes and oils. This leather is easy to maintain and will develop a rich patina with wear. 

    Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build. A tempered steel shank under the arch and a cork fill provides remarkable support and comfort throughout the day.

    Size Down ½ - 1 Size.

    The Barrie Last runs a 1/2 size larger than your standard US shoe size. The hallmarks of the Barrie Last is its voluminous shape, (high toe box, wide heel cup) its ability to fit many different foot shapes comfortably and the almond toe shape. For this reason, it’s Alden’s most popular Last. If you have slimmer feet or a low volume instep, sizing down a full size in the Barrie Last is common.

    We accept exchanges for a different size or store credit on any unworn, full-price footwear or leather accessories within 14 days of receipt. Please note:
