Alden “Handsewn” models indicate the moccasin stitch toe was stitched by hand rather than a machine. This allows the moccasin stitch to become expressive, raised and authentic. Shell Cordovan is made from the connective tissue from a portion of a horse’s rump. It’s rare, low yield and known for its durability, tight grain and glossy finish.
