    The “Paramount” Slip-On Chukka Boot in Black Shell Cordovan is made exclusively for Brick + Mortar. The closest you’ll get to a Chelsea boot style with Alden, this slip-on chukka is presented on the smart and classic Plaza Last, which provides a sleek and dressed up feel. This style only gets better with wear as the leather forms to your entire foot, providing a glove-like fit. Flex watercock leather soles provides Alden signature comfort on day one, requiring minimal break-in and allows for a non-restrictive, natural gait. 

    Shell Cordovan is made from the connective tissue from a portion of a horse’s rump. It’s rare, low yield and known for its durability, tight grain and glossy finish. Shell Cordovan is highly regarded for being able to maintain its luster and shape over time.

    Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build. A tempered steel shank under the arch and a cork fill provides remarkable support and comfort throughout the day.

    Size down ½ Size (US 9.5D = Alden 9D)

    The Plaza last is considered Alden’s dress last. It is characterized by its sophisticated, chiseled, and slightly elongated toe box. While the Plaza is considered a true-to-size last, if you have narrow feet, sizing down a 1/2 size is common. FITTING NOTE: Loafers made on the Plaza last run long, We suggest taking your Barrie last size when ordering Plaza last loafers.
