The “RBK” Long Wing Blucher shoe is made for Brick + Mortar in a dark clay nubuck grained leather which is thick and substantial yet soft and easy wearing. The versatile color works with any denim while adding enough tone and texture to keep things interesting for even the most seasoned collector. While suede is made from the softer underside of the hide, nubuck is made from the hide’s tougher exterior side, which is thicker and has a robust feel. This shoe features pinking and brogue detail throughout, surrounding the entirety of the pattern uppers. A medallian toe, 360 dark antique pre-stitched reverse welt and blind eyelets, all make this Blucher incredibly wearable and easy to break-in. The Barrie Last provides an elegant and popular silhouette in authentic Alden styling.

Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build. A tempered steel shank under the arch and a cork fill provides remarkable support and comfort throughout the day.

The Barrie last runs a 1/2 size larger than your standard US shoe size. The hallmarks of the Barrie last is its voluminous shape (high toe box, wide heel cup) and its ability to fit many different foot shapes comfortably. For this reason, it’s Alden’s most popular last. If you have slimmer feet or a low volume instep, sizing down a full size in the Barrie Last is common.
