  • The “Skagit Valley” Plain Toe Boot is made exclusively for Brick + Mortar, notable for its rugged and tough exterior which wears soft and comfortable on foot. The Skagit Valley is built for handling all four seasons and was inspired by the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Expertly crafted to handle your outdoor adventures with minimal maintenance, this Earth Reverse Chamois leather (similar to “roughout” but more suede like in texture) is packed with oils, making it highly water-resistant and durable. This color will vary in hues of black charcoal with brown, green and blue undertones just like the andisols that make up our luscious landscape. 360 pre-stitched antique reverse welt, moccasin toe stitching, dark brown hardware and a commando lug sole make this boot a picturesque representation of an Alden made for the PNW.

Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build. A tempered steel shank under the arch and a cork fill provides remarkable support and comfort throughout the day.

    Shoe Size Guide

    Size down ½ Size (US 9.5D = Alden 9D)

The Trubalance last runs a 1/2 size larger than your standard US shoe size. The toe box is slightly wider than the Barrie last, but shallower. The heel cup is also narrower than Barrie’s, so while the Trubalace is wider-looking than Barrie, the fit is very secure. If you have narrow feet, sizing down a full size in the Trubalance last is common.
