    The 405 is Alden’s Original Indy Boot, film famous and celebrated for its toughness, comfort and craftsmanship. The 405 Indy Boot is made using a rugged cowhide workbook leather produced by the prominent Horween Leather Company, a tannery in Chicago, IL. The mahogany colored uppers make this boot pair well with any smart-casual outfit and complement any pair of raw denim jeans and earth tones alike. Packed with waxes and oils, the leather is easy to maintain and hardwearing. Made on the accommodative Trubalance last which can support orthotics if necessary and provide all day standing, walking and working comfort. 

    Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build. A tempered steel shank under the arch and a cork fill provides remarkable support and comfort throughout the day.

    Shoe Size Guide

    Size down ½ Size (US 9.5D = Alden 9D)

    The Trubalance last runs a 1/2 size larger than your standard US shoe size. The toe box is slightly wider than the Barrie last, but shallower. The heel cup is also narrower than Barrie’s, so while the Trubalace is wider-looking than Barrie, the fit is very secure. If you have narrow feet, sizing down a full size in the Trubalance last is common.
