“Newcastle” Wing Tip Boot in Color 8 Shell Cordovan, Barrie Last

The “Newcastle” Wing Tip Boot is made exclusively for Brick + Mortar. This Wing Tip Boot is made from a versatile Color 8 Shell Cordovan by Horween Leather Co. This color varies in hues from egg plant to dark burgundy, paring well with almost every ensemble. Capable of achieving a remarkable shine, we chose carefully to not overwhelm with texture and instead highlight the decorative brogued and pinked wing tip detailing and medallion toe. A dress boot built for city but capable of tackling the elements, the 360 pre-stitched reverse antique welt and sole edge, dark brown hardware and a commando lug sole made on the Barrie last give this boot a smart appearance with practical utility.

Shell Cordovan is made from the connective tissue from a portion of a horse’s rump. It’s rare, low yield and known for its dense, tight grain and durability. This leather is highly regarded for being able to maintain its luster and shape over time. 

Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build. A tempered steel shank under the arch and a cork fill provides remarkable support and comfort throughout the day.
