    The “Neptune” Handsewn Indy Boot is made exclusively for Brick + Mortar. Its considered approach as dressy-utilitarian exemplify our Pacific Northwest spin on the New England classy original. A rich black shell cordovan, 360 blacked out flat welt paired with black hardware keeps this boot sleek, taking you from the elements to elegance.

    Alden “Handsewn” models indicate the moccasin stitch toe was stitched by hand rather than a machine. This allows the moccasin stitch to become expressive, raised and authentic. Shell Cordovan is made from the connective tissue from a portion of a horse’s rump. It’s rare, low yield and known for its durability, tight grain and glossy finish. Shell Cordovan is highly regarded for being able to maintain its luster and shape over time.

    Alden footwear is crafted using Goodyear Welt construction, which allows for a full restoration when necessary and a water resistant build. A tempered steel shank under the arch and a cork fill provides remarkable support and comfort throughout the day.

      Shoe Size Guide

      Size down ½ Size (US 9.5D = Alden 9D)

      The Trubalance last runs a 1/2 size larger than your standard US shoe size. The toe box is slightly wider than the Barrie last, but shallower. The heel cup is also narrower than Barrie’s, so while the Trubalace is wider-looking than Barrie, the fit is very secure. If you have narrow feet, sizing down a full size in the Trubalance last is common.
